Turkish Avanos Faded Antique Carpet
This beautiful carpet is from the town Avanos, which is located in the World Heritage Listed region of Cappadocia. It is believed to be between 80 and 90 years old at least. Ann shows obvious signs of fading, which we believe add to her beauty and authenticity. If you're after an older piece with a unique story and history, this rug may be for you.
Our kilims, vintage kilims, kilim cushions and rugs are all handmade using 100% wool. Due to the age and/or handmade nature of these items, minor signs of discolouration, fading, wear, or slightly unsymmetrical lines may be present.
